INGENIUM TEAM

Tasha has 34 years of experience riding, training and caring for horses and their riders. After a successful career as a junior rider and working student from the age of 12 through 18, she began her professional career as assistant trainer at Twin Lakes Farm, Bronxville, NY in 1993 while also attending college full time. Tasha graduated from Barnard College, New York, NY where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Afterwards, Tasha’s passion for horses took front stage and she joined Heritage Farm in Katonah, NY. At Heritage Farm she co-trained many riders and horses to successful qualifications at the top three national equitation championships.

In 1999, Tasha moved to California to accept a position as assistant trainer for Acres West in Calabasas, CA. During her time at Acres West she helped bring several young hunter prospects that went on to win top honors at the year-end national final indoor horse shows and co-trained the 2000 winner of the USEF Talent Search Finals West. In 2004, Tasha worked for Mark Bone at Huntover and rode to a championship at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in 2006 and riding her own horse to USEF Reserve Horse of the Year, 6-Year-Old Jumpers.

In 2009, Tasha took a position as assistant trainer at the prestigious Karen Healy Stables, known for its top equitation riders. During this time she trained the 2009 individual silver medalist and team gold medalists and the 2012 individual gold medalist at the North American Junior and Young Rider Championship. As a rider she placed in many Grand Prix jumping events and won the $10k Welcome Stake at the LA International Jumping Festival in 2013.

In 2016 Tasha opened Ingenium Farm. Ingenium Farm is not only a place for clients and their horses to grow and find success in the show ring, but it's also a family. A family Tasha has proudly built from the ground up. Tasha has a natural talent as a horse trainer/rider but her ability to run a business is also one of her biggest strengths. Tasha's clients have won top ribbons at local, regional and national medal finals as well as top placings at jumper year-end award finals. She still competes at the Grand Prix level.

Calleana's equestrian journey began at the age of 5. She started riding in the 4-H and ETI corral in Thousand Oaks where she learned horsemanship skills and competed in all events including, western, dressage, eventing, hunters and jumpers.

Calleana graduated from Thousand Oaks High School and went to work for Tri-Valley Equine Clinic, a large animal veterinary practice (primarily equine) in Ventura County for 11 years.

Afterwards, she worked on her own ranch full-time, breeding, raising, training, showing and selling horses. During this time she gained valuable knowledge managing and caring for the horses on her own and riding with multiple trainers.

In 2016, Calleana joined Ingenium Farm, where she brings her passion and dedication to the horses and riders she gets to work with on a daily basis.

The Facility

Ingenium Farm is located at the newly renovated facility in Moorpark, CA.

Each stall is 12x12ft with automatic water bowls, stall mattresses in the floor and padding on the walls to keep your horse comfortable.

The out door ring is 140x360ft and has the best footing made by Footing Solutions. The ring is watered and dragged daily. We have a track that goes around the ring for days when you want to exercise your horse without going in the ring.

We have plenty of large turnouts, and miles of trails accessible right from the barn so you can have relaxing trail days with your horse.

We also have a VitaFloor and bemer blanket so your horse can enjoy daily therapy sessions.
